FEARLESS - Lesson 1

I want to talk to you in this lesson about living FEARLESS

I have a question for you…….do you know what you really want out of life?

If you do…..are you going after it?

You see, so many people know what they want, but they are afraid to go after it. They are living in FEAR.

They’re stuck in their comfort zone.

I’ve been there. I had an idea for a business about 20 years ago….I went to the small business administration. I did the business plan. I found a location. I even went to the bank to start discussing what it would take to get the money. But guess what??? That's right. I got cold feet and stayed in my COMFORT ZONE! A few years later someone had the same idea, opened the same type of business and they are still knocking it down today. 

If you have a good idea, where do you think it comes from? Well, it comes from God, our creator. And when God gives us a good idea and we don't step out in faith, he usually gives that same good idea to someone else. It's part of his plan and he is not going to let it just go to waste.

People, they will walk around unhappy and telling themselves that one day…I am going to do this and I am going to have that and……well, you get the point.

The problem is they do the same thing every day……they get up, they go to work, they come home, they eat supper, they watch TV and they go to bed.

Then tomorrow, guess what….. they get up, they go to work, they come home, they eat supper, they watch TV and they go to bed.

Then the next day….same thing...day in and day out all the time saying they want something different!

What is the definition of insanity?

So, what is holding you back?

Is it FEAR?

If it is, then that’s OK.

We all have fears in our life….it’s very normal.

But This is What I know…. the difference between those that are successful and those that are not is that the successful people overcome fear by being …. FEARLESS……by having faith…..in themselves, as well as faith in God.

Wouldn’t you rather live fearless?

The definition of fearless is NOT the absence of fear, but it is the MASTERY of fear.

There are 7 levels of awareness, the lowest being Animal Level and the highest being Mastery. We will cover the 7 levels in another lesson of the Inspired Life Series. 

Do you seek approval by doing something you are not happy doing? Maybe you’re even miserable!

Why live life that way? Why not be fearless and go after what it is you really want? Not just doing something someone else wants you to do.

Or maybe, you're like I was and you're just stuck in your comfort zone.

Well, the comfort zone is not a safe place to be. We have all seen that we are not in total control, and especially if you're living in your comfort zone.

Why not be who you really are inside.

Not someone worried or caring what others think…… It’s not someone else’s job to like me…..it’s my job to like me!           

What do you say NO to that makes you fearless? Because that’s more important than what you say YES to.

You want to know what being fearless really is?.....Taking the road less traveled.

Not just doing what everyone else is doing.

When you are just following the crowd and doing what everyone else is doing, do you know what that causes you to do?

It causes you to compare yourself to others and when you do that you’re either better than or you’re worse than.

Neither of these are good. My bible say’s we are all created equally!

Just be you and be fearless and stand up for who you are!

Let me summarize:

• People want more out of life.
• But fear is holding them back.
• Being fearless is not the absence of fear, but mastering fear.
• Don’t be a people pleaser - It’s my job to like me.
• Don’t play the comparison game.
